Anthony "Tony" Goodman

Anthony "Tony" D. Bradley Goodman, 59, of Linton, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, October 2, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville. Tony was born on May 30, 1967, in Knox, Indiana, to Danny and Joann (Bradley) Timm. He grew up in northern Indiana and graduated from Knox High School. Tony sold cars for most of his working life. He was good at it because he was good with people. He could talk easily with anyone who came onto the lot, and many customers left knowing they had dealt with someone honest who cared whether they drove away happy. Tony was happiest outside. He loved gardening and took pride in taking care of his lawn. He also loved camping, whether that meant sitting by the fire, sleeping under the stars or just getting away from it all for a while. Those simple things brought him real peace, and he enjoyed sharing them with the people he loved. Above all, Tony treasured his loved ones. He leaves behind his best friend, Sam R. Goodman; his daughters, Brittney and Paige; two grandchildren; two sisters; and a brother. His parents and a brother died before him, and his family takes comfort in knowing they are together again. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Tony's life at a graveside service at Fairview Cemetery in Linton at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 8, 2026, with Monty Goodman officiating. There will be no public visitation. Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton, of Walton Funeral Service, is honored to care for Tony and his family. Alberta Tucker

Alberta Jean Tucker, 95, of Bloomington, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, September 28, 2026, at Stonecroft Health Campus surrounded by the comfort and care of those who loved her.She was born in Quincy, Indiana, to Harold VanDeventer and Elma (Cooksey) VanDeventer. Alberta lived a long and meaningful life centered on hard work, family, and the simple things that brought her joy.For more than 25 years, Alberta was a dedicated employee of RCA in Bloomington. She was known for her strong work ethic and dependable nature, and she took great pride in providing for her family throughout the years.Alberta especially loved spending time with her family, who meant the world to her. She enjoyed sewing, quiliting and created many cherished items through the years with her talent and care. She also held a special place in her heart for her beloved dog, whose companionship brought her great happiness.She will be deeply missed by her children, Gene (Heidi) Tucker, Gary (Debbie) Tucker, David (Ruthie) Tucker, and Leanna McKnight (John Naylor) six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Her legacy will continue through the many lives she touched with her love, kindness, and devotion to family.Alberta was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Elma VanDeventer; her loving husband of 63 years, Merle Edgar Tucker who passed in 2011, her sister, Lavonne Livingston; and her brothers, Eugene VanDeventer and Gayle Lee VanDeventer.Arrangements have been entrusted to West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home of Walton Funeral Service, Inc.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Owen County Humane Society.Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.westparrishpedigo.com.
